Fonner Park, located in the heart of central Nebraska in southeast Grand Island, operates seven days a week. A "live" thoroughbred-racing season is conducted from mid-February through mid-May while the facility televises nationwide simulcast horse racing year round. In addition, Fonner Park features live" ball draw KENO daily.

Organized in 1953, Fonner Park conducted its first thoroughbred horse race in 1954. In addition to exciting "live" racing in the spring, Fonner Park televises pari-mutuel racing from New York to California featuring great tracks like Saratoga, Keeneland, Churchill Downs, Calder Race Course, the Fair Grounds, Turfway and Hollywood Park.

Simulcast racing is conducted seven days a week at the Fonner Keno Casino & Sports Lounge and in the Fonner Park Clubhouse on weekends. The fun and excitement begins daily at noon with continuous simulcast racing during the afternoon and on most evenings. The newly remodeled Fonner Keno and Sports Lounge is located on the 2nd level of Fonner Park and is acknowledged as one of the finest facilities in Nebraska. Progressive Keno games have generated jackpots of over $200,000. Daily play begins at 11:00 AM and continues until 1:00 AM. (Sunday, noon ? 10:00 PM) The spacious facility includes seating for 525 patrons with viewing on over 130 televisions and big screen TV?s to stay up to the minute with all the simulcast tracks, live draw Keno games and your favorite sporting events.

The Dugout Lounge features your favorite beverages and offers a delicious lunch and dinner menu with great tasting food specials served daily. Admission and parking is Free to Fonner Keno and daily simulcasting.

Fonner Park, located at 700 East Stolley Park Road is host to numerous civic and agricultural events throughout the year.
